Little Tom asks his father, “What did you want to be when you were little?”
The answers he receives are those that occupy the minds of many children; from world-class athlete to lion tamer to firefighter, and more. But as his father reveals his childhood wishes, Tom decides that each profession would keep his father away from him, and that makes him sad.
“But Tom,” his father says, “there’s one thing that’s the best things of all to be.”
“What’s that?” Tom asks, sleepy-eyed.
“Your Dad,” his father answers and kisses him goodnight.
